Philip J. Castrovinci is a second generation divorce and family law attorney. His father Philip Castrovinci is universally respected by both the bench and bar and is regarded as one of the “Deans” of the Long Island matrimonial bar. Mr. Castrovinci’s father is also one of the most revered trial attorneys in the divorce arena. Prior to law school, Mr. Castrovinci decided to go into the family business and began working in his father’s law firm in 2013. Mr. Castrovinci graduated from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg law center a semester early while being the Vice-President of the Family Law Society, and Vice-President of the T.A.P.S. (trial team) honor society. Mr. Castrovinci also spent considerable time in court rooms during law school due to his participation in the Child Advocacy Clinic and clerking for a Suffolk County Family Court Judge. Mr. Castrovinci received awards at graduation for his contributions to both the trial team and his community, as well as receiving the CALI award for academic excellence in his Family Law class. Upon admission to the bar, Mr. Castrovinci was responsible for numerous divorce and family law cases primarily in Suffolk County from initial consult through settlement or decision. Mr. Castrovinci has experience handling various types of cases, including but not limited to: contested custody; complex equitable distribution; spousal and child support issues; and post-judgment applications. In his free time, Phil enjoys golfing and fishing with his friends and former teammates from his time playing college lacrosse.
