Robert C. Shea
Robert continued his legal career as an Associate at Cullen and Dykman, LLP, working with the General Liability, Tort, and Insurance Defense practice. During his tenure, Robert vigorously defended various publicly held corporations, parent and subsidiary organizations, including household name retailers, delivery distributors, and premises landlords in personal injury claims in both State and Federal Court proceedings. As an Associate, Robert zealously advocated on behalf of the firm’s clients through all aspects of litigation, whether during arguments in the courtroom, mediation sessions, or through motion practice, to advance client interests both for the resolution of matters at hand and the preservation of client public image in the age of social media.
Prior to his admission to practice, Robert was a Legal Extern with the Town of Hempstead Town Attorney’s Office. Robert engaged in various legal research and analysis projects on behalf of the Town, ranging from zoning use, employment policy and procedure, municipal/state/federal inter-governmental agency conflicts, ordinance violation enforcement, COVID-19 municipal policy and coordination, dangerous animal conditions, and so on. At the conclusion of his externship, Robert was invited to return as a Legal Assistant pending admission to the New York State bar, where he continued to work until his admission to practice in New York and beginning his tenure with Nassau County.
Robert is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.
