Modifying Divorce Support
In New York State, Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s executive order “New York on Pause” came into effect as of March 22, 2020. All non-essential businesses have been ordered to work from home. This also means that all non-essential gatherings have been banned. Essential businesses include:

- Grocery Stores, Liquor Stores, Takeout Food
- Postal Services
- Sanitation Services
- Manufacturers
- Funeral Homes, Cemeteries, Crematoriums
- Child Care Services
- Financial Institutions
With the enactment of this executive order, many New Yorkers will find themselves working from home. Unfortunately, those who are unable to work from home may find themselves without pay, or a reduced income.
